Master of Science in Public Health (Nutrition)
The Master of Science in Public Health (Nutrition) program is designed to prepare professionals for more advanced work in nutrition in public health agencies, research institutions, schools and hospitals in the light of preventing and controlling nutritional disorders and of the total community development program.

Program Learning Outcomes
The MSPH (Nutrition) curriculum is designed to prepare professionals for more advanced work in nutrition in public health agencies, research institutions, schools and hospitals. Graduates of the program should be able to:
- demonstrate skills in the application of concepts and technologies to the solution of community nutrition problems;
- plan and undertake research projects in public health nutrition; and
- deliver technical services related to nutrition of population groups.
Admission Requirements
- Good scholastic record from any recognized institution of higher learning
- Possession of a baccalaureate degree with adequate credits in the biological and physical sciences
- Must have taken Epi 201 (Principles of Epidemiology) or pass a validating examination if they have taken a course equivalent to Epi 201. (Applicants who have not yet taken Epi 201 may still be admitted but they have to formally enroll in the course.)
- At least 1-year of work experience in the related field
- Duly accomplished Application Form (downloadable through the NGOHS website: ngohs.upm.edu.ph)
- Comply with the General requirements found on the 2nd page of the Application Form (UPM-NGS-OP-01F1)
Graduation Requirements
- Residency of at least 1 full academic year immediately prior to the granting of the degree
- Completion of a minimum of 34 units of formal courses (11units of core courses, 13 units of major courses, 10 units of electives)
- GWA of 2.00 or better in major courses and in all courses taken provided there is no grade of 5.00 in any of them
- Satisfactory completion and submission of the required hard bound copies of thesis, and electronic copy of manuscript
- Certification of submission of paper for Publication
