Guidance and Counseling Program

Office of Student Affairs
The Program provides mental health and psychosocial support that strengthens students’ academic skills, clarifies career goals, builds healthy relationships, and helps them manage adjustment and developmental challenges in college. In adherence to RA 9258, the Guidance and Counseling Act of 2004, assistance is delivered by licensed professionals who uphold standards of competence, ethics, and confidentiality. Through structured, preventive, formative, and non-clinical approaches, the program emphasizes early support, skill development, and personal growth. The Program does not provide clinical or psychiatric treatment, and refers students to appropriate providers when needed. Anchored in the belief that each person is unique and capable of growth, the Program nurtures resilience, self-awareness, and responsible decision-making.
