Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
The Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy is a five-year competency-based program reflecting a paradigm shift from drug-centered to patient-centered practice. It emphasizes the clinical role of pharmacists in individual, family, and community-based care. The curriculum focuses on optimizing medicine use, supply management, and health outcomes through subjects like pharmacotherapy and extensive supervised practice experiences. Designed to be nationally relevant and globally competitive, the program serves as a foundation for an optional one-year Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) bridge program to further enhance professional clinical competencies.
