The Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology (BSSP) program prepares students with entry- level competencies needed for independent practice in the Philippines as speech-language pathologists. The program focuses on normal communication development, the role of communication competence across the lifespan, and the importance of intervention for maximal participation and inclusion in society of persons with communication and/or swallowing disorders.

Graduation requirements of the BS Speech Pathology program adhere to the academic rules/policies of the University of the Philippines. Students must have completed: (1) all coursework or requirements of the curriculum; (2) at least one year of residence work immediately prior to graduation; and (3) application for graduation.
