The program seeks to address the ever-increasing demand for expertise in modern communication as related to organizations in the Philippines. The program aims to present a holistic perspective of organizational dynamics in the modern century by focusing on organization-related communication skills.\\

Graduates of the Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication program are expected to:
  - demonstrate effective, persuasive, and strategic communication in a multi-cultural, organizational context;
  - advocate ethical communication, as well as media and information literacy (MIL), in the workplace;
  - engage in continuing education and other forms of professional development in the various fields of organizational communication;
  - adopt organizational communication practices rooted in “Filipino historical and cultural heritage” (based on RA 7722) balanced with international perspectives;
  - lead organizations in communication campaigns; and
  - collaborate in local and global organizational communication projects and advocacies.

Graduates of accredited high schools may be admitted as freshmen into the University of the Philippines on the following bases: (1) their performance in the UP College Admission Test (UPCAT); (2) their weighted average in the first three years of high school and; (3) their choice of UP Campus and the quota set for specific course/colleges/units set by the respective Deans.\\
